The 7-Word Text Message You Should Send If Someone Cancels Your Date

Professional dating coach Blaine Anderson has disclosed the simplest and most straightforward text message to send someone in the event that they cancel their date with you.

It's difficult to date in 2025. Dating apps like Hinge or Raya offer an almost limitless number of matches, but it can be challenging to truly connect with someone. And for a variety of reasons, face-to-face connections are still quite difficult.

While attending the University of Arizona, Anderson started working with male classmates. In the end, she made it her own company.

"My guy friends would ask me for dating advice about my sorority sisters," she noted in her letter.

"I couldn't understand why the best guys had the worst luck with girls. I grew fixated on determining the reason. Are good males hated by women? Or is there another issue?

Anderson started Dating by Blaine and has a large social media following. She has even promoted her firm on ABC's "Shark Tank" show.

If someone cancels their date with you, you should give them a seven-word text message, according to a professional dating coach. "Okay cool, thanks for letting me know."

According to Anderson, there is no justification for expressing annoyance or requesting an explanation. The woman will see you if she wants to. And you'll do better if they don't.

"You deserve a woman who will work just as hard as you do. "Cut bait and move on if you don't see that," Anderson advised.

Whoever canceled the date has the upper hand. They are responsible for figuring out an alternative date or another time that might work. And it's simple to break off contact and move on if they don't want to do that.
