Successful players will be able to enter the Trophy Room, where they could find hints suggesting the millionaire's name.Still, there's more. Host and comedian Peter Serafinowicz will assign the millionaire a hidden job to safeguard his personal advantage in every episode.
Some of these chores could take place at the nightly elimination dinners, when participants must vote on who they think to be the money bearer. Whichever way their estimate is accurate or not, the person with the highest votes will have to leave The Stag right away.
How one wins the show? Contestants only need to have the box with the cash to claim the reward money. Said easier than said when everyone is guessing who left a sizable chunk of money unattended in their room.
Should a millionaire be found and voted off, they will leave the game and the money will then be moved to another player. This style is remarkably similar to another show, Fortune Hotel, which Stephen Managan hosts on ITV.
One clear exception, though, is the Netflix series lacks frequent switches. The money in the last program was kept in briefcases; participants could switch their case with other players.
That seems not to be a feature of Million Dollar Secret. Another difference is that pairs worked in Fortune Hotel, while Million Dollar Secret consists of single participants.
Still to be revealed, the series may have some surprising twists. According to the Tudum website, a Millionaire has the choice to forfeit the money to remain in the game for another day should they feel they are getting too much attention.
