'Misunderstood' NFL star Aaron Rodgers' close friend makes a judgment about his future.

Pat McAfee thinks that Aaron Rodgers will want to play in the NFL season and hopes that he finds a new team after being let go by the New York Jets.

The Jets will probably cut Rodgers in the next few days if they don't get a trade deal for him. His market value isn't known yet because he has to decide if he will play in 2025.

After learning that the Jets were letting him go, Rodgers is said to be taking his time to decide if he still wants to play. He is likely to wait until he has real interest before making his choice.

While many people aren't sure if Rodgers will play in 2025, McAfee has explained why he thinks the quarterback does want to keep playing, even though he will be 42 years old later this year.

McAfee said, "I think he plays next year, just because A.J. Hawk, who is close with Aaron, always asks himself, 'What else would Aaron do?'" A.J. always says that Aaron is going to play football.

"Enigma tells you a lot about this man. He's very competitive... He's doing all of this to get better at football. He plays baseball. This guy really loves baseball. He plays football the old-fashioned way. Still has the loose strap that he always takes off. It means a lot to him to get hurt and still play.

"I believe many people do not see him for what he truly is. He's one of the most competitive guys in the world. He loves the NFL because it lets him satisfy his need to be competitive.

I believe he still has the skills to play football at that level. He wanted to give the Jets a parade. I believe he plays football once more, but I'm not sure where.
