Desmond Watson, 464 pounds, may be NFL's biggest choice.
In four weeks, the draft will begin. And one of the chosen players will make the scale spin more than four times.
Desmond Watson, a defensive tackle from Florida who weighs 464 pounds, could be the NFL's biggest draft pick ever. His huge six-foot-six-inch body goes with his huge weight.
There's no promise that he'll be picked up right now. Watson did not go to the Scouting Combine. On Thursday, he had his Pro Day workout.
He did 36 sets of 225 pounds on the bench press. That is more than any player at this year's Combine could manage. Also, it took him 5.93 seconds to run the 40-yard dash. He was able to jump 25 inches high.
Florida coach Billy Napier said, "Dez, obviously, he's a unicorn." "For the rest of your life, you'll never be with a guy that tall." After that, you meet Dez. His intelligence is very high. I really enjoy his funny stories. He was a great player.
Deion Sanders: I don't mind if Shedeur goes to any team that needs a quarterback.
Shedeur Sanders is set to work out alone with the Titans and Browns. Ohio State defensive tackle Joey Slackman said, "He moves way better than anyone thought he would at his size." "I can see why a team wouldn't pick him up." He's a football player all the way through; I'd want him on my team.
Even though Watson wasn't on the list for the Combine, that doesn't mean he won't be picked up by a team. He was passed over for Indy, though, even though he's hard to miss.
