Arkansas Possum Pie
Ingredients
One cup of pecans, crushed
Half a cup of melted unsalted butter
One cup of sugar granules

One cup of powdered sugar
One cup of chocolate pudding mix

Two cups of milk
One cup of whipped cream
Garnish with chocolate shavings (optional).

Set the oven temperature to 175°C (350°F).

Melt the butter and add the crushed pecans to a mixing dish. To create the crust, press this mixture into the bottom of a pie plate.

After ten minutes of baking, take the crust out of the oven and allow it to cool.

Beat the granulated sugar and cream cheese together in a separate bowl until smooth. Cover the chilled crust with this mixture.

Beat the milk and chocolate pudding mix in a another bowl until the mixture thickens. Cover the cream cheese layer with this.

Evenly distribute the whipped cream on top of the chocolate layer.

Before serving, let the pie cool in the fridge for at least two hours. If desired, add chocolate shavings as a garnish.
