If you enjoy Batman and find yourself waiting for the next Robert Pattinson Caped Crusader installment, consider the guy himself.
Although development on a follow-up has still to be started, Robert debuted Bruce Wayne in 2022’s The Batman, which was heralded as the first part of a new trilogy centered in Gotham City.
His Mickey 17 co-star Naomi Ackie inquired whether he was “going to do Batman again soon” during a new interview with Hero magazine.
“I fucking hope so,” he said laughing. “I started out as young Batman and by the sequel I will be fucking old Batman.”
Naomi responded, “I’m old, but I’m healthier,” when she claimed that it was “bullshit” to say Rob is “old,” at 38. I honestly have somewhat lowered my biological age.
The Batman starred Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Paul Dano as The Riddler, and Zoƫ Kravitz as Catwoman aside from Rob.
Filming on the sequel is scheduled to begin at the end of this year; October 2027 is currently under pencil in release date.
Barry Keoghan also made a cameo in a part believed to be the Joker in the first movie; he has stayed silent on whether the character will be explored more thoroughly later on in the saga.
Almost three years ago, The Batman debuted; since then, a TV spin-off featuring Colin Farrell’s character has also been a hit, garnering Golden Globe, SAG, and Critics’ Choice Award honors for the Irish actor.
