Pune News: A shocking case of the brutal murder of an 18-year-old girl has come to light in the Walhekarwadi area of Pimpri-Chinchwad, creating a wave of panic in the local community. The incident took place on Sunday night (May 11) when Komal Bharat Jadhav (age 18) was attacked with a sharp weapon right in the middle of the road, leading to her immediate death. Komal lived with her family in the Krishnamai locality of Walhekarwadi, on the outskirts of Pimpri-Chinchwad.
How Komal Was Murdered
On the evening of the incident, Komal was at home when two individuals arrived on a bike and called her outside. As soon as she stepped out of the house and approached them, the assailants suddenly attacked her with a sharp weapon. The injuries were fatal, and Komal died on the spot.
Neighbor Arrested — Here’s the Motive
Police reached the scene promptly after receiving the report and began an intensive investigation. Within a day, they successfully identified and arrested the main suspect and his accomplice. The accused have been identified as 45-year-old Udaybhan Yadav, a resident of the same neighborhood, originally from Uttar Pradesh, and his nephew.
During interrogation, the police learned that Komal and Udaybhan had known each other for some time as neighbors. They were reportedly involved in a personal relationship and also had financial dealings. Disputes arising from these transactions reportedly led to tension between them. Eventually, in a fit of rage, Udaybhan, with the help of his nephew, allegedly executed the murder plan.
