PF Withdrawal: Employees can now withdraw their Provident Fund (PF) money online in just a few clicks through the government’s official UMANG app — no paperwork required.
The app offers a seamless and paperless process to access EPFO services like checking balance, transferring accounts, and withdrawing funds.
To use this facility, your UAN must be linked with Aadhaar, and your KYC details (Aadhaar, PAN, and bank account) must be verified on the EPFO portal.
Users who are retired, jobless, or facing emergencies such as education or medical needs are eligible to withdraw their PF. Partial withdrawal is allowed under specific conditions even during employment.
To withdraw, download the UMANG app, register your mobile number, log in via OTP, select EPFO > Employee Centric Services > Raise Claim, and submit your request. Funds are usually credited to your bank account within days.
This update makes PF withdrawal fast, digital, and hassle-free, helping crores of employees access their savings anytime, anywhere.
