New Delhi, May 12 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a strong warning to Pakistan after the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, declaring that not only the terrorists but also their “aakas” — or masterminds — will be held accountable. Addressing the nation, Modi said, “Terrorists and their handlers will be buried. This is a new India that answers on its own terms.”
The statement came after the successful completion of Operation Sindoor, a precision military strike targeting terror camps across the border. Modi described the operation as a symbol of India’s unshakable commitment to justice, adding that those who test the country’s patience will now face its full might.
Modi confirmed that India’s retaliation has been paused for the time being, but stressed that all three branches of the armed forces, including the BSF, are fully alert. “Let’s see what Pakistan does in the coming days,” he said, making it clear that India is watching closely.
In a direct message to those backing cross-border terrorism, the Prime Minister said India will no longer tolerate nuclear blackmail or proxy wars. He added that the country will no longer draw a line between terrorists and the governments that protect them.
The Prime Minister praised the bravery of Indian soldiers, calling their actions “heroic” and a display of India’s growing strategic power. “Our forces have shown terrorists and their masters their place,” Modi said. “I salute every Indian soldier for their courage.”
With this message, Modi has signaled a tougher and clearer anti-terror stance, one that refuses to differentiate between violent actors and those who enable them. India’s message is loud and clear — any attack will be met with decisive action.
