Mumbai, May 13, 2025 – The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) today announced the SSC (Class 10) Results 2025, with an impressive overall pass percentage of 94.10%. Once again, girls have outperformed boys, boasting a 96.14% pass rate compared to 92.31% for boys.
Over 15.58 lakh regular students registered for the February–March exams across nine divisional boards—Pune, Nagpur, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati, Konkan, and Chandrapur (formerly Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar). Of these, 15.46 lakh took the exams and 14.55 lakh passed, confirming a steady improvement in Maharashtra’s secondary education outcomes.

- Lowest divisional score: Nagpur (90.78%)
- Fully successful schools: 7,924 out of 23,489 registered schools
Private & Repeat Candidates
- Private students: 28,020 appeared; 22,518 passed (80.36%)
- Repeat candidates: 23,954 appeared; 9,448 passed (39.44%)
Special Categories
- Divyang (differently-abled) students: 9,585 appeared; 8,844 passed (92.27%)
