Dakota Johnson has been seen sporting a graphic new look while filming sequences for her Colleen Hoover book-based upcoming flick.
Filming for “Verity” at New York’s Grand Central Station, the actress is starring with Josh Hartnett. Johnson was seen covered in blood with it down her face, in her hair and all over her coat, as the two recorded footage. One picture shows Johnson inhaling on a vaporizer appearing worried, with Hartnett standing near by.
Known for his work on The Big Sick and The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Michael Showalter is directing; Anne Hathaway is both appearing and producing the movie. The movie will appear in theatres next year.
Colleen Hoover’s first book tells the tale of Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer nearing the end of her rope financially and finding a lifeline thrown her way. The husband of well-known novelist Verity Crawford has invited her to board and complete the last books in her best-selling series.
After an unexplained catastrophe, the author herself cannot complete them; but, Lowen soon discovers when she gets to their house that things are not as they seem. Lowen had to determine how much of Verity’s work was really fiction or not after finding an unpublished work among her output.
Originally starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, the latest Colleen Hoover adaptation It Ends With Us currently serves as the basis of a continuous legal conflict. Lively has charged Baldoni with sexual harassment during the romance movie filming for 2024.
Furthermore, she said the actor and director planned a smear campaign meant to undermine her career.
Lively complained against Baldoni on the same day the New York Times ran an investigative piece into the claimed slander directed toward Live by Baldoni and his staff. The viral piece claimed Lively’s victimization, therefore shaping public opinion to support the Gossip Girl star.
Justin has angrily refuted all of Lively’s claims and responded with a startling $400 million defamation lawsuit directed against Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds. Baldoni is suing the pair for civil extortion, slander, and invasions of privacy. Launching a website showcasing purportedly text message exchanges with his former co-star, the star of Jane the Virgin has also tried to restore his reputation.
