Den of Thieves, the follow-up to the popular 2018 action-heist movie, is Netflix streaming. Den of Thieves 2: Pantera returns director and writer Christian Gudegast as well as actors Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. Detective Nick “Big Nick” O’Brien (Gerard) is focused on Donnie particularly following the Federal Reserve in Los Angeles heist and soon gets caught with diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mob.
Den of Thieves 2 opened in January 10, 2025, in theatres On a $40 million dollar budget, the movie gross $57.1 million worldwide. Using a $30 million production budget, the first movie brought in $80.5 million.
Although the second movie might have made less money, it did considerably better on Rotten Tomato with 63% Tomatometer and 79% Popcornmeter when compared to 41% Tomatometer and 63% Popcornmeter for the first picture.
The second movie chronicles the events of the first, but now ex-marine Donnie Wilson (O’Shea) is in Europe organizing a large theft involving the World Diamond Center with a new gang.
Since the movie aired on the streamer on Thursday, March 20, Netflix members seemed to enjoy it. They have started sharing their favorable impressions of the movie on X once known as Twitter.
